Experiments in Rest

A collaborative, live-art performance and installation exploring approaches to rest through acts of slow care work, embroidery, touch, conversation and connection. Performed at Goldsmiths UAL, Camden People’s Theatre and OutNow! Festival, Shwankhalle, Germany.

This piece asked how can we slow down in an ever accelerating world? Can simple acts of diligent craft work connect us beyond the act itself? How can we be alone together and be comfortable in our shared silence and vulnerability?
